- At The Ridge Campground & RV Park Located in The Great Smoky Mountains At
our North Carolina Campground, At the Ridge Campground and RV
Park, “Simple Mountain Camping” is our motto. Located
approximately six miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, At the
Ridge Campground is surrounded by North Carolina’s beautiful
Pisgah National Forest and the North Fork River. Here you can
experience what you came to the Great Smoky Mountains for: crisp
evenings, sitting around the campfire, excellent views, relaxing
in nature, hiking to waterfalls, fishing, animal watching,
tubing & swimming. Don’t forget our favorite, just watching the
water go by!
At The Ridge Campground and RV Park is located on Parkway Rd.
(North Carolina Hwy 215), a Forest Service Scenic Byway, in
between Brevard and Waynesville in Transylvania County-The land
of Waterfalls. At the Ridge Campground and RV Park offers 15
full hook up camping sites on the river ~ 10 Tent sites on the
river and 4 tent sites by trout pond. Camping sites are shaded
and there is a limited number of covered tent sites. At the
Ridge Campground and RV Park has open field RV storage. The
campground is open year round-limited services in winter.

Enjoy Swimming and Tubing in
the North Fork River. Explore The Pisgah National forest which
is home to hundreds of waterfalls. If you are visiting North
Carolina for the first time you have picked a great place to

Family activities include: Sliding rock, Cradle of
Forestry Visitor Center, Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education,
Pisgah Fish Hatchery, plus all the trails and picnicking you
care to do.
Be advised: Use care when navigating using GPS or
internet map provider’s directions. Mountain roads can be quite
different than expected-especially when pulling or driving a RV.
